Gov.Rick Perry is so in bed with big business that he could care less about the poor the
disabiled and eldery.I think fromer President Bush probley had a good heart but a rich kid
born with a selver spoon and had no idea of how poor people live.But he got us into this
mess with his war’s.and we the people are paying for it now.I don’t think any President
could restore America now to the way of life we had before he became President.I feel
we are on a fast tract to another great depression like the one in the 1930ths. or even
worest.

SLECI DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW GOV.RICK PERRY COULD BE SO CRUEL AS TO RIP OUR
DISABLED CHILDREN OUT OF OUR ARMS.I AM SURE HE DOES NOT EVEN THINK OF US AS
HE LIVES HIS RICH LIFE STYLE WITH HIS RICH FRIENDS WHO GIVE MONEY FOR HIS

I AM ON SOCIAL SECURITY.I AM RAISING MY GRANDDAUGHTER WHO IS AUTISM NON VERBAL
AND HAS LIFE THREATENING HEALTH PROBLEMS .WITH OUT MEDICAID I WOULD BE UNABLE
TO PAY FOR HER HEALTH CARE.I WOULD HAVE TO PLACE HER SOME WHERE.IT WOULD BE
CRUEL TO TAKE HER OUT OF HER HOME WHERE SHE IS LOVED.IT WOULD BE LIKE PUNISHING
HER FOR BEING BORN DISABLED.IT WOULD BE MORE COSTLY FOR TAX PAYERS TO PLACE HER
THAN FOR HER TO LIVE AT HOME.IT WOULD FEEL LIKE A LIVEING DEATH FOR HER AND
MY SELF

I am writing this letter for my Mom. She worked all her life taking care of me my sister and others. She has always had vision problems since 19 from an accident and refused medicaid. She took a course instead of a check. She was born with an unblown case of spina bifida in her L5. She has been diagnosed also with MS and hypertention and asthma. She worked until being carried straight from work to ER. She was not able to work any more. She finally went to social security ( I took her myself) and qualified for help. She is totally dependent on Disability and the CAD (a Texas Waiver program) to help with her needs. She is legally blind. My Mom is 56 years old. She has many health issues and this to me is more important than planned parent hood or any other programs. My Mom worked until she could not anymore. This is very devastating to her. What is she suppose to do? I noticed the government employees in Washington are not affected by any of the cuts. Is this fair? no tax cuts for the wealthy and no one cares about the disabled/elderly of Texas. ……. Is this America? Is anyone listening? What if it were “YOUR” Mom? My Mom cared for my father until his passing when she was also dealing with cancer. She deserves better from our government. Where is my Mom to go? God bless American and keep our parents who are elderly and disabled in the palm of your hands.
